About Rincon

Rincon, straddling the Ventura-Santa Barbara county line, is known as the Queen of the Coast—and rightfully so. This world-class right-hand point break produces some of the longest, most perfect waves in California when a solid west or northwest swell meets light offshore winds. The wave breaks over smooth cobblestone, peeling through three main sections: the Indicator, the Rivermouth, and the Cove. On its best days, you can ride from the top of the point all the way to the highway. Winter is prime season, and the crowd knows it.
