About Seaside Point

Seaside Point, also known as The Cove, is a fast, hollow right-hand point break at the south end of the Seaside Promenade. The wave wraps around a rocky headland and produces barreling sections that can rival any point break on the West Coast when conditions align. It needs a solid northwest swell and clean conditions to really turn on, but when it does, this is one of the best waves in Oregon. The town of Seaside provides easy access to food, coffee, and lodging.

This Week's Outlook

Sunday PM looks like your best bet with 6-foot surf, lighter winds backing off to the northeast, and a decent afternoon low tide at 2:59. The period stays solid at 9 seconds and those cross-shore winds won't mess with the wave faces too much.
